$100K settlement reached in sexual assault lawsuit against Pawhuska Public Schools

"Pawhuska Public Schools agreed to settle for $100,000, with no admission of liability, a lawsuit filed against it and a substitute teacher in November of 2023 in U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Oklahoma," the Pawhuska Journal-Capital reports. "The lawsuit concerned an alleged sexual assault in September of 2022 by one Pre-Kindergarten pupil on another Pre-Kindergarten pupil in a bathroom at Indian Camp Elementary School."
