Some bullying victims now have an escape hatch

"Three children are charged in Logan County with felony assault after the kicking of an autistic 12-year-old in the stomach was videotaped and the schoolyard incident posted online," The Oklahoman reports today.

Obviously the schools need to solve their massive bullying problem, but in the meantime it's nice to know that autistic students, as well as other special-needs students, now have an opportunity to attend a school where they'll be safer.
