Next week is Teacher Appreciation Week, a time to celebrate the 3.5 million schoolteachers in this country, including some 400,000 working in private schools. But as I point out today in the Tulsa World, there are hundreds of thousands more teachers who also deserve our gratitude—teachers who are building human capital without making any demands on the public fisc.
